The school has 5  main levels of activity:

Nursery – 4 to 15 months

Infant Toddler (K2) – 1 to 2 years

Toddler – 2 to 3 years

K3/K4 – 3 to 4 years

K4/K5 – 4 to 6 years

Montessori method

Our method of work combines different pedagogical trends in early childhood education, but it is in the vision of the Italian educator Maria Montessori (1870-1952) that we find our main source of inspiration.

The Montessori method is based on the belief that the child is a being highly interested in his own development, a lover of intellectual work and learning by doing, and that the potential to learn is in each of us. The child is the subject of the educational process and the main role of the educator is to create the conditions for this process to happen.

An environment that is both stimulating and welcoming is an important part of this. Another important part is an educator who respects the individuality of each child as a way of expressing their “I”, their initiative and their ability to choose. And that it understands freedom as a condition for the expansion of human life.

At  Monica´s School Bilingual Pre-School | International Child Education, Maria Montessori's assumptions are implemented in activities and games aimed at motor and sensory development and the acquisition of skills for adapting to practical life. Education is seen as a whole.
